Chris Atkins has 30 years experience in the IT industry, so has seen most trends come and go. His experience covers hardware and software, and infrastructure and applications. For the last two years he was Head of Product and Partner Marketing at Sun Microsystems UK, and now works in Oracle's Systems Marketing organization.
Michael Ramchand is the Enterprise Technology Lead for the Oracle Hardware division in the UK. His area of expertise is around Data Centre efficiency where the disciplines of consolidation, virtualisation and automation can be combined to provide people, process and IT efficient systems: delivering availability, disaster recovery and simplicity. He spent the first 7 years of his career working for a Sun reseller in the Caribbean, and joined Sun UK in 1998 as a Senior Project Engineer in Professional Services, culminating in Chief Technologist of Professional Services, before joining the Systems Practice in Pre-Sales as a Principal Engineer.
