What do I need to send out a mailing?

A mailing list in a simple Excel Spreadsheet or text file. For further branding, we can create a custom template for you, which can include your company's colours and logo.

Can I email AOL and plain text users, too?

Yes, even though your template will be html based, we recognise that it is vital to retain control over the appearance of your email across all different platforms. We therefore create custom versions for AOL and plain text users. The html original will be cross-checked against a number of validation rules to further ensure that 'what you saw is what they get'.  We have the capability to determine whether the user is html, AOL or plain text based and the right template will be sent accordingly.

What about personalisation?

The technology involved allows us to use a wide range of personalisation. This can be as simple as a personal salutation to embedded hyperlinks. Please be aware though that this feature is driven by your database, so it relies on accurate information.

Can you ensure timely delivery?

We recognise the importance of timing for marketing campaign.  We therefore rely on one of the world's largest server networks to provide rapid distribution.

What do you do with bounced emails?

There can be a number of reasons for your email to bounce, e.g. an estimated 31% of email addresses change every year. We therefore monitor your bounces and remove them from your lists on repeatedly failed delivery attempts. This will not just save you money but a failure to remove these addresses could mean that your emails could be blocked in the future. Some ISPs keep track of your failed delivery attempts and will brand you as 'spammer' should continue to send to the bounced recipients.
