Charlie has 18 years experience in Systems Integration
and during his career has held various management positions.
Initially he spent 8 years at Accenture, and then four years
at Pyramid Imaging in San Francisco . While at Pyramid Charlie
set up the Investment Banking practice and ran the New York
office. Charlie then joined Scient, the eBusiness Consultancy,
and as VP of Europe had responsibility for building their
London , Munich and Paris offices.
Paul Heald
- Co-Founder
Paul has been involved in the strategic
development of ebusiness for some of the world's leading companies
for the last 8 years, with a further 8 years in Strategic
Operations for rapid growth businesses during his earlier
career. Paul founded and led the ebusiness practice of technology
strategy firm Arthur D. Little before joining Scient to help
build its European business as the European Managing Director
of Scient's Enterprise Group.
Alexandra
Mackaness - Finance Director
Alexandra joined the Company having been Head of Corporate
Finance at Arthur D. Little in London. Previously, Alexandra
was CFO of Xaim, an early-stage US company which focuses on
the application of artificial intelligence technologies in
medical diagnostics and prognostics. Prior to Xaim she was
a founder member of a corporate finance advisory partnership,
an Investment Director at HSBC Private Equity in London and
a Vice President at Bankers Trust Company, working in the
Structured Debt and Private Equity and the Mergers and Acquisitions
Groups.
Richard Heald - Sales Director
Richard has worked in Financial Services
for the last 11 years in a sales capacity to UK and offshore
intermediaries for Norwich Union, HSBC and latterly as an
Associate Director for Schroders. Richard has been responsible
for developing an extensive asset manager customer base and
has a wide range of experience of the challenges faced in
selling and marketing Insurance and Investment based product
through a complex network of distribution channels.
Dorian Logan
- Technical Director
Dorian has been
involved in the development of enterprise scale applications
for over 15 years. Dorian's roles have crossed all aspects
of technology from hardware and network support, to architecting
and building enterprise systems and deploying internal communication
systems. Since 1996 Dorian has focused on new media
and Internet technologies working for IBM and leading eBusiness
consultancies to build some of the world's most advanced communication
platforms.
Chris Mccann - Non Executive Director
Christopher qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Pricewaterhouse. He then spent eight years with Barclays Merchant Bank gaining corporate finance and project finance experience. Chris then spent five years in New York where he held senior Corporate Banking roles at Barclays. In 1987 he joined the private equity arm of CountyNatwest which he played a major part in building into a leading independent European private equity business now operating under the name of Bridgepoint. While at Bridgepoint he was on numerous investee company Boards. Since retiring from Bridgepoint in 2002 he has continued the role of Director or Chairman of a number of businesses both public and private.
