Beating PCI in 2009
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) affects nearly every business on the planet. Most retailers are already aware of its implications to their business, and some are growing into new levels and earning a crash course in PCI DSS. Many companies that happen across this type of data during their normal business operations have no idea the liability it carries. This session will briefly touch on the basics of PCI, and will dive heavily into the changes from 1.1 to 1.2, the new PA-DSS Standard, case studies on creating effective compensating controls, and ultimately provide several tips and tricks to make the PCI journey easier. This is one session you cannot afford to miss in 2009.
