Medical Device Security and Control Redefined
Medical devices have become interconnected systems running commercial operating systems on commoditized hardware. This has presented challenges for device manufacturers and hospitals. Similar to a PC, these systems are susceptible to constant patching and frequent updates. Devices are vulnerable to unauthorized changes, unwanted applications, and malware that causes breakage and compliance gaps. This webinar will examine medical device lifecycle challenges, from manufacturing to the device channel to the hospital, and highlight how traditional security technology that would be applied to PCs is not sufficient for achieving security, control, and compliance on medical systems.
