Engaging the Influencer on Twitter

Successful twitter engagement programs are not about hitting the international superstars in the hope that they will promote your widget, instead it is about context and influencing the influencers. For context, the key to success is understanding and engaging in target communities whilst earning trust. Within influencer relations, the focus needs to be geared towards those people that generate ideas rather than those who amplify them.
