SRI Teleconference - Healthcare Investing
Spending on healthcare is increasing sharply in both developed and emerging markets. In developed countries the demographic burden of ageing populations is steadily driving up the percentage of GDP spent on healthcare, while in emerging markets investment in healthcare is accelerating above GDP growth as economic development forces improvements in the quality of healthcare provision. Yet not all healthcare investments are equal. In this teleconference Alice Evans, Henderson’s Healthcare specialist and fund manager of Henderson’s global Sustainable & Responsible Investment (SRI) funds, will outline where specific investment opportunities lie within this sector, offer her thoughts on key markets such as the US and China, as well as highlight companies she likes and why.
