Social Media Policies
Organizations of all sizes are quickly coming to realize that that people are talking about their brand, whether they like it or not. And in many cases, their employees have already joined in the conversation and are using social media tools to communicate both personally and professionally, and are seen by the outside world as representing the brand in an official capacity. As such, many organizations are either contemplating the notion of, or have already developed a social media policy for their employees. Join our roundtable discussion on social media policies, where we'll answer such questions as whether or not organizations need a social media policy, what should be included in social media policies, who should write the policy, how and when to communicate the policy to employees, and how organizations can or should monitor or enforce the policy. The panel discussion will include thought leadership perspectives and expert advice from Gurmeet Dhaliwal, VP, Internet Marketing at CA Technologies, Lynne Johnson, Senior Social Media Strategist at R/GA, and Sharlyn Lauby, President at Internal Talent Management Group, Inc. The panel will be moderated by Jamie Pappas, Manager, Enterprise Social Media Engagement Strategy at EMC Corporation.
