DIY Malware Construction

Malware construction is a globally competitive business. Unfortunately, what used to require years of development experience has been boiled down in to a downloadable package and is now publicly available for a nominal fee. The hurdle for would-be criminals to develop custom malware capable of bypassing today’s anti-virus technologies has been lowered to no more than a speed-bump and is getting lower. This session will look at the DIY Malware business and how federated construction tactics have led to a pandemic of new malware and nimble botnets.
