Monetizing the Cloud
It’s commonly known that utilizing cloud-based services create cost saving opportunities for mid-sized companies and large enterprises. But what isn’t as well known is that these same companies can actually generate increased revenue from the cloud if all of the services are managed correctly. To effectively monetize the cloud on a reoccurring basis, companies must take into account three things: ·How to seamlessly manage their billing procedures (subscription vs. one-time transactions vs. usage and tiered) ·Using only the most safe & secure services (PCI compliance) ·Determining where they fit best within the cloud (public vs. private)
