After the Smartcard, What's Next?
Rapid change is standard in the information security field, but fundamental transformation is taking place in the area of identity and access management (IAM). In the Federal Government, the HSPD-12 smartcard has created a foundation for profound improvement in government IAM efforts that dramatically enhance the overall security posture. Now that employees and contractors have smartcards, what's next?
