FP7 Call 6 – Submitting a Proposal
The Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network and the National Contact Point for ICT will jointly be holding an information webinar on FP7 Call 6. ? Call 6 is the last opens in November with a budget of over €280 million. ? The Call will focus on: o Cognitive Systems and Robotics o Digital libraries and digital preservation o Virtual Physiological Human o ICT for Mobility of the Future o Future & Emerging Technologies If your organisation is involved in research in any of these areas then please register for this informational webinar. The webinar presentation will last for approximately 30 minutes followed by a further 30 minutes for questions. For those that have not participated before we will provide an overview of FP7. This will be followed by specific details of Call 6 presented by Peter Walters, ICT NCP. The presentation will conclude with an overview of how to prepare a successful proposal. This webinar is part of a DC KTN programme of events designed assist UK organisations participate in the Framework programme and leading edge research network. The webinar is FREE and will be delivered by Eddie Townsend, our collaboration domain expert. Eddie has based the material for the webinar on his experience of successful proposal submissions and management in FP6 and FP7. The Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network has been established by an industry-led group of leading players, with funding from the Technology Strategy Board. It seeks to bring competitive advantage to the UK by promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing between the users and providers of Digital Communications, and by helping to drive innovation in the sector.
