Basic Disinfection Practices for Tissue Culture Laboratories
This one-hour webinar will discuss basic practices for combating contamination in tissue culture laboratories. It will include a review of common laboratory contamination sources as well as how to choose and use an appropriate disinfectant. Basic clean laboratory practices as they apply to tissue culture activities will be discussed. The use and cleaning of biosafety cabinets and incubators and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment will be covered. A basic checklist for investigating contamination issues will also be provided. This webinar will be interactive, and the audience will have the ability to ask questions, as time allows. This course has been pre-approved for 0.125 ABSA Certification Maintenance Points.
