The New RIPA Codes
A discussion of the new Code sof Practice on Covert Surveillance and CHIS which come into force on 6th April 2010. Ibrahim Hasan will examine the codes in detail from a local authority perspective. He will discuss, amongst other things, new guidance on necessity, proportionality, test purchases and joint operations. This is a must for those who work with RIPA especially staff in licensing, trading standards, environmental health , legal and audit.
