Manage webcast
Brian Avery, Cisco SMB Manager
Communication is one of the most basic human interactions. Ever since Alexander Graham Bell created the ability for two people to talk over a wire without being face-to-face, our communications have evolved rapidly. Between phone systems, mobile phones, video conferencing, text messaging, instant messaging and the world of social media, communication technology has never been more powerful or more complicated.

In the Communicate session, we will start by providing a high level discussion and education about today's Collaboration and Unified Communications technologies, how they differ from past communication platforms and how they can benefit your business. We will then present specific technologies and solutions that you can implement to enable faster, more productive communications internally as well as with your customers and suppliers. Voice, video, instant messaging, presence, virtual meetings, mobility and telepresence are all topics we will touch on and provide you with guidance on how to consider implementing these into your business!

Industry experts and analysts affirm its strategic role in enterprise architecture for increasing agility and flexibility in the delivery of information.

Discover how data virtualization enables organizations to access, manage, and integrate data from a wide variety of data sources (Cloud, Web, Social, Big Data, the “Internet of Things”, etc.). Seamless integration incorporates data ranging from structured to unstructured and everything in between, opening up new opportunities for firms to leverage their most valuable asset, their data, whenever and wherever it’s needed – quickly, efficiently, and cost effectively.

    Things you will learn:

    • What Data Virtualization is and key data integration challenges solved.
    • How it both complements and leverages existing enterprise architectures.
    • The Denodo Data Virtualization platform, its capabilities and an overview of common usage patterns, eg Agile BI, etc

  • For data to yield valuable insights on demand, it must be transformed into information that is accurate, complete and readily accessible. Your data management processes cannot be an afterthought.

How do you enable effective analytics? It’s simple, but not easy. Organizations have to lay the groundwork with smart planning, careful choices and the right technology. And that’s just the beginning.

In this live one-hour webinar, Lisa Dodson, Systems Engineer Manager for SAS, addresses five essential data management practices in analytics and demonstrate how SAS Data Management helps you improve, integrate and govern your data.

Dodson is a recognized expert in data management, data governance and data quality at SAS, where she has worked for 14 years. She holds a master’s degree in information quality and has affiliations with many data management/governance organizations.

  • The consumerization of IT, bring your own device (BYOD), and software-as-a-service (SaaS) provide organizations with impressive productivity gains, but bring with them the challenge of secure management. Grady Boggs, Principal Security Specialist, illustrates the Microsoft comprehensive cloud solution, the Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS), and details how users can stay productive while keeping corporate information safe and secure.
  • In this webinar you’ll understand how the Hortonworks Data Platform delivers an Open Enterprise Hadoop solution to run on EMC Isilon infrastructure. You will learn how the EMC Isilon storage solutions combined with the Hortonworks Data Platform deliver unmatched flexibility, lower cost and deliver robust data protection and security. You’ll learn how you can easily initiate analytics projects quickly and get results in minutes.
  • Face it, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is here to stay, but that’s not automatically true for the apps and data on those devices. Join us to learn how to create the right technology and process mix - architecture, policy, protection, expectation setting and SLAs. Come see how to build on the economies of scale you're getting from your virtualized infrastructure. And how you can extend them to address end-point device information management, file synchronization and backup and recovery approaches.
