About TR-42 Telecommunications Cabling Systems Committee:
The TR-42 Telecommunications Cabling Systems Committee develops and maintains voluntary telecommunications standards for telecommunications cabling infrastructure in user-owned buildings, such as commercial buildings, residential buildings, homes, data centers and industrial buildings. The generic cabling topologies, design, distances and outlet configurations as well as specifics for these locations are addressed.

The ANSI/TIA-942 Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers is developed by the TR-42.1 Generic and Premises Cabling Subcommittee. TR-42.1 develops and maintains cabling standards for generic customer-owned telecommunications networks. These standards are intended to specify open systems designed to support a wide variety of voice, data, video, and other low voltage, power-limited applications. TR-42.1 also develops and maintains telecommunications cabling standards for premises networks such as commercial buildings, data centers, building automation, etc. This Subcommittee specifies cabling system topology, architecture, design, installation, testing and performance requirements.

  • 4 Eating Styles: Yoghurt Case Study
4 Eating Styles: Yoghurt Case Study Severine Bensa & Virginia Clifford Recorded: May 2 2017 39 mins
Recent research has uncovered that consumers fall into one of four categories of eating style - crunchers, chewers, smooshers or suckers.

According to the research, chewers enjoy a prolonged chewing action, crunchers like the sound and feeling of a hard bite, smooshers enjoy manipulating soft food in their mouths, and suckers enjoy extracting as much flavour as possible.

We can help food companies use these findings to improve formulations and their front-of-pack messaging. By understanding each eating style, manufacturers can develop more successful products. In this webinar, we focus on yoghurts to show you how you can use these innovative insights.

In this webinar, you’ll learn about:
•The importance of Sensory Experience to consumers
    •The differences in eating styles
•New consumers insights in yoghurts which you can use to develop your products
    •Ingredion’s texture capabilities and expertise

  • Process sampling practices
Process sampling practices Janne Loimi, M.Sc., Application Specialist Slurry Sampling, Outotec Recorded: Apr 27 2017 37 mins
This webinar will focus on the importance of a sampling system for an analyzer in a concentrator plant. Sample pipe routing and installation are more demanding than installation of process piping, e.g. water or sewer piping. The importance of designing and installing a sampling system is often overlooked causing a lack of representative samples. This results in poor process control and can decrease plant profitability. The webinar discusses how to overcome the above issues.

  • Innovations Contributing to the Overall Growth of Smart Agriculture Technology
Innovations Contributing to the Overall Growth of Smart Agriculture Technology Chris Shanahan, Global Director, Agriculture & Nutrition, Frost & Sullivan Recorded: Mar 8 2017 61 mins
The global agriculture sector has encountered challenges with the lack of adequate food for the growing malnourished population, the continued radical decrease in the areas of global arable land, and a dearth of technology that supports increased productivity and reduced labor dependency. These challenges are being addressed by integrating farming with technologies that provide decision support systems, effective farm monitoring, crop management, improved farm household income and farm output, and an overall improvement in the efficiency of the agricultural system. Critical factors for successfully exploiting opportunities in the smart agriculture sector include providing a means to enable continuous monitoring, enabling real-time data collection, increasing automation of crop cultivation and livestock production systems, and effectively demonstrating increased farmer return on investment.
