Hybrid Identity Protection Virtual Conference

Track: Hacking Identity

Sessions will demonstrate real-world attacks that are frequently used against AD, including credential theft, Kerberos-based attacks, Group Policy-based attacks, and ACL attacks.

Active Directory was not built to stand up against today’s threats. AD is particularly difficult to secure given its constant flux, sheer number of settings, and the proliferation of powerful hacking and discovery tools. Hackers constantly find new ways to break into AD. And once inside, they’re adept at covering their tracks to silently create backdoors and establish persistence. Defenders must anticipate their adversaries’ advances and be able to thwart attacks at every stage of the cyber kill chain. The sessions in this track will demonstrate real-world attacks that are frequently used against AD, including credential theft, Kerberos-based attacks, Group Policy-based attacks, and ACL attacks.
