Service Introduction: Bridging the gap between Development & Support

Presented by

Peter Hubbard, Senior IT Service Management Consultant, Pink Elephant EMEA

About this talk

It's well known that IT is invisible to the business, there are normally only two times that the business notice IT exists, when something is new/changed or when something is broken. This is helpful as statistically speaking the things that break the most are the things that are changed! Many organisations struggle to deal with the transition between the development of a new service (often as a project) and the smooth operational support of a service. This manifests itself in delayed service launches, or services going live without proper support in place for the business. In this webinar Peter Hubbard of Pink Elephant will share an approach to ensure that the divide between development and production is bridged and that launches of new or improved services go smoother for all concerned.
