We are pleased to be joined by NatWest Group (formerly the Royal Bank of Scotland) who will provide insight into their energy management journey and how they have progressed from a desire to improve systems and reduce costs, to setting ambitious energy and climate targets whilst achieving savings into the £millions. The session will cover the bank’s collaboration with EcoAct to develop an operating model that has driven large energy reductions and improved processes and reporting; the obstacles overcome along the way; and how this has provided NatWest Group with the foundation for a robust industry-leading climate strategy. John Bamford, Director, Head of Advisory, EcoAct UK John leads the EcoAct UK Advisory team and is a Chartered Engineer, specialising in operational performance of energy related systems, whether within buildings or as part of industrial processes. He provides in-depth support to key clients throughout their energy and carbon reduction programmes. Lesley Holloway, Environmental Manager, NatWest Group An experienced Energy & Environment Manager with almost 20 years of experience in the banking sector, Lesley has worked in a number of financial institutions, including ING Barings, ABN AMRO, and for the past 18 years, NatWest Group (formerly RBS Group).
