About this talk

For 25 years the Irish Petroleum Industry Association represented those engaged in the importation, distribution and marketing of oil products. As its members’ businesses changed to meet the ambition of carbon neutrality by 2050, the organisation was challenged to evolve too and consider the leadership and advocacy role it could play. CEO Kevin McPartlan will discuss ‘Powering today and tomorrow’, the founding vision document of the newly rebranded Fuels for Ireland. Speaker: Kevin McPartlan, Chief Executive Officer, Fuels for Ireland (formerly the Irish Petroleum Industry Association). His is a public affairs and communications specialist who has worked with start-ups, multinational companies, industry associations, political campaigns and sovereign states. He was educated at University College Cork and The Honorable Society of Kings Inns.
