About this talk

This year has seen a fundamental change in energy thinking, recently referred to as our next industrial or clean growth revolution. Many economies are aligning their policy to incorporate technologies to support this, which is a welcome change from the stale rhetoric flowing through the energy industry for the past two decades. Re-thinking the basic goals of energy is already happening and starting to filter down into the building blocks of the future. There are however existing topics that haven’t been fully explored or confronted. Matthew aims to take you through a few subjects that continue to stick in our mind ranging from the unexplored through to the veracity of the things we are being told. Speaker: Matthew Devoy, Origination and Customer Solutions Manager, Total Gas & Power Matthew has over a decade of experience in the energy sector concentrating on power, gas and certificate trading as well as the origination of renewable gas and power across Europe. His previous experience includes project finance and credit insurance in the oil, gas and aviation sectors. He currently manages the customer innovation branch and certificate and physical origination team at Total.
