About this talk

With heating processes responsible for about 80% of building emissions in the UK, decarbonising heat from buildings is critical to the UK’s commitment to Net Zero. Whilst implementing zero carbon heating systems is currently a choice, soon it will be a requirement. People who have not yet felt the brunt of decarbonisation policy, such as landlords, will soon face both regulatory requirements and public pressure to take active steps towards net zero. Navigating the options available to businesses for transitioning to low carbon heat is a difficult task. Choices can be influenced by location, building use, commercial processes, available space, and personal preference. Gill Alker, AMP Clean Energy’s Innovation and Policy Lead, will outline the policy forthcoming changes and the options available to businesses in this webinar.
