About this talk

Watches and timekeeping have always been part of innovation history. As early as 1450B.C. the Egyptian Empire used sunlight to determine the calendar year and key rhythms for agriculture. 2000 years later in Giovanni de Dondi in 1364A.D. created the first astronomical mechanical clock which attempted to measure the movements of the solar system. Only 150 years later the mechanical watch was born in Italy, Germany and France simultaneously and facilitated the Naval exploration revolution. It remained dominant until the 1970s, during which time the digital watch first was developed by Omega, the Speedmaster was ward by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldren to the moon. Casio and HP soon followed suit and quickly dominated watch making. Today, watches and wearables continue to change our lives with the introduction of the Apple Watch and other smart watch products. Salesforce is ready to support every enterprise customer with wearables that are contextually relevant, unobtrusive and provide all the context through every data point you need to understand and act. Join Rick Grubb of GE Aviation Services, Howard Dresner of Dresner Advisory Research and Todd Enders, Product Marketing at Salesforce to learn about the future of wearables in the enterprise.
