The green economy sector is vital for the transition toward a climate-neutral economy. If the green economy maintains its current 4.2% growth, it could represent as much as 5.5% of the global market value by 2030, according to sustainability tech company Clarity AI’s own estimates.
To accelerate this trend, the EU Taxonomy is setting a common classification system for sustainable economic activities. This regulation will be instrumental in achieving the emissions reduction and mitigation goals of the EU’s Green Deal.
However, investors are faced with challenges to comply with this regulation, such as the scarcity of available data, the ongoing development process of the regulatory framework and the divergences between green taxonomies across jurisdictions beyond the EU.
Join us on April 7th to dive deeper into the implications of these challenges, and to gain a better understanding of the merits of technology to inform accurate EU Taxonomy monitoring and reporting.
The panel includes:
• Víctor Fernández, Senior Product Manager, Clarity AI
• Ruby White, Senior Manager, Sustainable Finance, Risk Advisory, Deloitte
• Michael Mahler, Head of Responsible Investment, Allfunds
The webinar will be moderated by Alastair O'Dell, Journalist.
