About this talk

ESG reporting presents a significant opportunity for fund manufacturers to position their ESG credentials in an accessible, transparent and comparable way. This sounds great in theory. But how does one truly quantify the unquantifiable with ESG data points largely being non-financial? How are organizations meeting the challenge of not only managing a fund’s ESG-related risks, opportunities and performance, but also monitoring them, and quantifying them? The operating environment is complex with multiple frameworks, methodologies, calculations and different approaches to setting and tracking against KPIs, at both a company and fund level. And not to mention the need to source, consolidate and manage the requisite underlying data. In this webinar, we will address the key challenges associated with ESG reporting and how market participants can overcome them, as we move the dial towards meeting transparency goals and ever closer to the regulatory deadlines for SFDR (EU) and TCFD (UK) reporting in 2023. Your expert panel: • Pauline Vaskou, Climate & Responsible Investment Strategy Lead, Aegon • Niels Fibæk, CEO, Matter • Matthias Breier, Head of ESG Products, FE fundinfo The panel will explore: 1. What are the key governing ESG frameworks? 2. What are the required ESG disclosures, risks and metrics? 3. How do we quantify ESG risks and opportunities? 4. What guidance is there for companies and funds on setting, measuring and tracking performance against KPIs? The webinar will be moderated by Nik Pratt, Technology & Operations Editor, Funds Europe.
