About this talk

60% of OT organizations have experienced a malware intrusion in the past year, and 77% have only partial centralized visibility on the cybersecurity of their OT environments. These are among the findings of a June 2020 Fortinet survey of OT operations leaders. Listen in as Rick Peters, Fortinet's CISO for Operational Technology in North America, moderates our discussion exploring current challenges faced by asset owners and operators as physical and cyber processes converge. The panel will explore the impact of IT -OT convergence on operations, growth in the number of IoT devices, slow adoption of basic cybersecurity practices and the imbalance of attention paid to prevention and detection. The panel is made up of Jay Abdallah, VP, Cybersecurity Services, Schneider Electric, Samuel Linares, Managing Director, Accenture Security, Global Industry X.0 and Europe IX.0 & OT Security Lead, Accenture, Ben Miller, VP, Threat Operations, Dragos, Peter Newton, Sr Director, Product Marketing for IoT/OT, Fortinet
