About this talk

In these unprecedented times K-12 customers are quickly enabling a remote workforce and student body. This is placing new demands on IT and security teams as they work to enable distance learning for students, while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Providing devices to students for distance learning comes with the responsibility to block sites deemed to be inappropriate. This is a special session for K-12 customers introducing Prisma Access, the cloud-delivered firewall platform from Palo Alto Networks. Recently, Prisma Access has enabled school districts to rapidly provision newly mobile administrators, staff, faculty, and students while extending their security posture to the virtual classroom for staff and students. Solution Specialist Paul Tarkington walks through customer examples, architecture & configuration options for Prisma Access, and answers questions about deployment & scalability. We also discuss how Prisma Access can provide deep stack protection — from URL filtering to defense against ransomware and malware — to keep your parents, schools and districts safe as they lead, teach, and learn from home.
