About this talk

In this webinar we start to reflect back on 2020 and the rapid changes organisations have had to make in the last few months to adapt to a new world of working while keeping the business running without any downtime. We look at some examples of how organisations have transitioned to a remote working model and if disaster recovery plans have needed to improve for the business to stay secure and carry on running. An audience poll during this discussion indicated that the focus is no longer solely on disaster recovery: 24% of the respondents said there is now a need to build in resilience, and 76% that there should be a shift to ‘continuity as default’. Join our panel of speakers as we deep dive into the challenges faced by some customers and how Rackspace Technology helped overcome those challenges in 2020. On the panel: •Colonel M C Cornell, Assistant Head - Information Application Services, British Army •Carol Williams, Head of ICT and SIRO, Walsall Council / Chair of Socitm West Midlands Region •Owen Powell, Chief Information Officer, Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust •Spencer Sutton, Solution Architect, Rackspace Technology •Helen Olsen Bedford, UKAuthority (host)
