Legal Risks of IT Outsourcing & Remedies when gone awry

Presented by

Eric Sinrod, Partner, Duane Morris LLP

About this talk

There is a great temptation for businesses to outsource IT functions to other countries, as part of cost containment efforts. While saving money on the front-end appears appealing, careful thought should be given as to whether this is a penny-wise, pound-foolish approach. When an outsourced IT project goes awry, the burden and expense of remediating the problem can be astronomical. And at times the only way to try to be made whole is to prosecute litigation against the IT companies who ‘got it wrong,’ either based on incompetence or even outright deception
