SUSE has announced a beta version of SUSE Enterprise Storage 7 (SES 7), the latest software-defined storage solution built on the Octopus release of the open source Ceph technology.
The current SES 7 release is a public beta and is open for general testing prior to commercial release of the product.
The versatile, flexible and robust software-defined storage solution runs on widely available industry standard hardware delivering flexibility, scalability enhanced data protection capabilities and significant cost savings.
The new release contains several exciting features including containers, new management dashboard and hyperconvergence to name a few.
