Sustainable IoT – Low Code, Low Maintenance and Ultra Low-Power Approaches

Presented by

Dale Seed (Convida Wireless), Andreas Kraft (Deutsche Telekom), Ravikumar Pragada (InterDigital Inc.)

About this talk

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a fundamental enabler of sustainability through its remote sensing and control capabilities in ‘green’ ICT solutions. Wider adoption, however, depends on using technology sustainably. During this webinar, Dale Seed of Convida Wireless, Andreas Kraft of Deutsche Telekom and Ravikumar Pragada of InterDigital will illustrate new developments that are making this possible. This will cover principles for designing IoT systems sustainability and practical guidance for implementing low-code and low-maintenance IoT devices based on the oneM2M standard. The session will also take a longer-term view of new approaches to support ultra-low power devices that bring the potential for trillions of IoT devices closer to reality.
