This webinar will discuss mechanisms and clinical evaluation of DNA mismatch repair (MMR) status in solid tumor oncology. Speakers will present case studies, and share clinical experience using MMR immunohistochemistry in the context of cancer immunotherapy.
Dr. Kuwata is Chief of the Department of Genetic Medicine & Services at National Cancer Center Hospital East in Chiba, Japan. As a leading pathologist and established investigator, Dr. Kuwata has been active in the field for 27 years, serving on multiple national professional committees and is a key author of pathology and cancer guidelines in Japan with over 100 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Kawazoe is a staff physician in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at National Cancer Center Hospital East and an established investigator, who has been active in the field for 9 years with active translational research programs on cancer biomarkers and therapy with 48 peer-reviewed publications.
