About this talk

During Juno and Kilo release cycles, Enhanced Platform Awareness features have been implemented in Nova. Those features make Nova aware of: - NUMA topology of the host - NUMA locality of PCI devices - different memory page size present on IA systems - topology of the CPU’s present on the host and allow Nova to make more intelligent scheduling decisions. A user can make use of those features to achieve better and more deterministic performance of Virtual Machines on IA systems. During this webinar we will go through those features to understand how they work and how they can be used.
