About this talk

* Click on the video to see attachments pertaining to this webinar | The history of the mobile network has shifted from analog voice transfer (1G) to packet data transfer (3G-5G Non Stand Alone (NSA)). As the technology shifts towards 5G Stand Alone (SA) and beyond, modern new applications are expecting advanced capabilities in mobile networks such as multi-access edge computing (MEC) and network slicing. The mobile network will need to migrate with the unprecedented use cases heavily integrated with computing resources in the Internet and the cloud. This migration is challenging in various perspectives and SRv6 mobile user plane (MUP) is expected as a key breakthrough technology to cope with such change. This seminar will explain the challenge that is expected in 5G SA and how SRv6 MUP can help overcome it.
