About this talk

Multi-G is an initiative targeted at creating a fully Programmable Layer 1 PHY that opens the lowest layers of the 3GPP base station architecture for innovation. In this webinar, the value of a truly programmable Layer 1 PHY will be explored by Cohere and Intel while sharing how Intel’s latest FlexRAN™ Reference Architecture is evolving within the framework of the Multi-G initiative. The Multi-G initiative includes the 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors for better O-RAN economics, boosting single base station spectral capacity via the spectrum multiplier effect, and sharing the PHY layer between multiple waveforms like OFDM/OFDM or OFDM/OTFS. Presenters: - Art King, Director of Product Management and Marketing at Cohere Technologies - Ranjit Cavatur, Senior Director at Intel NEX SW
