About this talk

Stürmsfs is a leading steel and metal processing company. They excel in webshop and frontend digital processes, however there is room for enhancement of their production related digital processes. As a result they have launched the smartfactory@stürmsfs project, where the company has defined priority use-cases and is building up digitalization know-how in an “open Lab” together with technology partners and implementation partners since 2022. A private 5G network based upon Nokia DAC technology and implemented by Datwyler plays an important role at the smartfactory@stürmsfs. It has become an indispensable connectivity backbone for machine integration and data mining, without limitations – flexible performant and reliable. During the webinar the audience will learn more about the characteristics of a Private 5G network in comparison to WiFi for customer needs in an industrial IT/OT environment. Current use-cases and a future outlook will be presented. Presenters: - Raoul Harlacher, Nokia 5G Mobile Private Network Account and Partner Manager for the Swiss market - Karsten Lengnink, Head of Partner Management at Datwyler
