Validating Vendor Interoperability in the DDS Standard

Presented by

Justin Wilson, Principal Software Engineer, Object Computing

About this talk

Applications built on DDS are designed to rapidly exchange data across multiple systems based on an open publish/subscribe protocol. Seamless data sharing is at the core of the Data Distribution Service (DDS) standard. To ensure vendor interoperability across DDS implementations, the OMG® DDS Special Interest Group (DDS SIG) recently conducted a series of comprehensive tests using the interoperability RTPS (Real-Time Publish Subscribe) protocol. These tests covered a wide range of DDS functionality and features across vendors. The test results and detailed reports are automatically generated in GitHub, providing specific insights into the interoperability status per vendor per feature. This webinar will review the interoperability testing and discuss the results, as well as take audience Q&A.
