There are 2.9 million single parent families in the UK representing nearly 15% of all families* Making sure children grow up in a secure home is an important consideration for any parent, but if you’re a single parent, parental responsibilities and relaying on one income/benefits, can often make either staying in your home after separation/divorce/bereavement or getting on the housing ladder out of reach.
