Enhanced Network Automation and Optimization with ETSI TeraFlowSDN

ETSI’s Industry Specification Group (ISG) THz provides the opportunity for ETSI members to share their pre-standardization efforts on THz technology resulting from various collaborative research projects and being extended with relevant global initiatives.
Two more deliverables of this group are available since the beginning of 2025. GR003 provides an overview on THz channel measurements and models, whereas GR004 sheds a light on the Modelling the non-.ideal behaviour of RF hardware, which becomes important at this frequency range. OpenSlice Release 2024 Q4 Webinar

Augmented Reality (AR) registers AR assets in 3D with the real world in real-time. To achieve this, an AR system estimates the 3D transform of the AR device in relation to the real-world objects, or conversely, based on its different sensors. 
This webinar will present the recently published ETSI specifications and available tools for providing a world representation and performing pose estimation on various AR devices. Pose estimation is achieved by combining the world representation with data from the device sensors and can be conducted locally or on a remote computing platform.

Whilst considering its transition to the PS-LTE network, it was proposed that identity-based encryption (IBE) could be used as a low latency solution.
