About this talk

Smart Embedded Vision is opening up new possibilities for edge computing systems that rely on visual data to make decisions. Drones, machine vision, thermal imaging, gaming, video surveillance, robotics, machine learning and HMI all rely on cameras and displays that demand low power while supporting high-speed interfaces. The parallel processing and high-speed I/O capabilities of FPGAs makes them ideal processing platforms for delivering the high data throughputs needed for these applications. However, imaging sensors on the edge must operate at very low power levels. In this webinar, you’ll learn about PolarFire® FPGAs, which are ideal for up to 4k resolution, low-power imaging/video and machine learning edge applications. This training is intended for FPGA design engineers, system architects, and engineering management/program management who would like to learn more about Microchip’s FPGA product offerings, with a focus on our cost-optimized, lowest power, mid-range density PolarFire FPGA family.
