Buffeted by inflation, rising interest rates and fears of recession, the outlook for the global economy looks distinctly difficult. Our Chief Economist, Steven Bell has been highlighting these risks since the end of last year. In this month’s webinar he will examine whether the pessimism is now overdone and consider whether this offers opportunities.

Troubled times for the global economy

Fears of recession are on the increase. The US yield curve has inverted – a reliable harbinger of recession. Consumers are being squeezed by higher prices, higher interest rates and, in the UK, by higher taxes too.
