The cloud may have been sold as the sunlight uplands of enterprise technology, but in reality, the forecast is changeable. Successfully managing this new attack surface is hard as legacy approaches struggle to match the pace of change.
With supply chains, recent attacks have proven the risk to be huge, for example. There are also burgeoning problems with OT, not to mention measuring and explaining this nascent new risk to the board and keeping everything aligned with business objectives.
