User Experience vs. Security

There is an increasing focus on balancing security with user experience; frustrating attackers whilst improving the work experience. All too often security controls cause difficulty for our colleagues who inevitably look for workarounds, making our organisations less secure. Changes in working practices and attitudes have also made understanding user identity more complex. To maintain and improve security, a focus on understanding how our colleagues interact and the implementation of new solutions will help both users and security teams.
