Chelsio 10/25/40/50/100 GbE iWARP RDMA adapters enable high virtualized application performance by giving direct access to the data residing on Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct storage, as well as higher scalability for Storage Spaces Direct (S2D). Chelsio iWARP also enables much more streamlined, simplified configuration of RDMA high-performance networking for S2D compared to Ethernet RDMA networking alternatives. The first part of the webinar provides an overview of the Chelsio iWARP adapter offering and its benefits for S2D The second part provides a review of a performance test conducted by Microsoft of Windows Server 2016 S2D using the Chelsio T5 40GbE iWARP RDMA adapters that showed 6 million IOPS (input/output instructions per second) performance.
