IBM Watson and Slack announced a groundbreaking partnership —a collaboration in the development of a cognitive Watson-powered Slack App and associated IBM Cloud SaaS offering called #codename:Eleanor. #codename:Eleanor aims to provide incident first responders with productive first actions and cognitive capabilities making access to information and data as simple as asking a natural language question within a Slack channel. In early prototypes, #codename:Eleanor has been integrated with leading SaaS offerings such as PagerDuty and New Relic to provide an industry-first cognitive capability to IT Ops, DevOps and NOC teams. During this session, we'll briefly share the #codename:Eleanor use case concepts and prototype. You’ll also discover how PagerDuty users can immediately accelerate the time to know what to do next when an incident arrives through a cognitive solution. When every second counts, you’ll be able to greatly reduce MTTR.
