VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) offers immense advantage to VMware users in terms of simplifying day 0 and 1 operations and streamlining management operations within the vSphere ecosystem but there are still considerations for you to evaluate such as storage and data protection. In this session you will hear how, an external storage array can work in a VMware Tanzu environment, using VMware CNS, vVols, SPBM and FCD, we will also explain how to use PowerProtect, in order to backup and restore containers, the session will include demos, showing how it all works.
