About this talk

The Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation and EU Taxonomy are concepts that are already revolutionising institutional investment. However, despite the regulations bringing forward an incredible shift in the industry, they come with practical challenges. The role of AI and machine learning is to help investors navigate the complexity of this sweeping initiative. In Part One of our webinar series with Clarity AI, “EU Sustainable Finance: Filling the gaps in SFDR & EU Taxonomy Reporting”, we aimed to fill the gaps and answer questions related to greenwashing, data overload, and costs of implementation. We learned that a vast majority of our viewers expect to rely on estimates to comply with SFDR due to a lack of data. It also became clear that there is a general lack of understanding when it comes to the methodologies surrounding reporting the Principal Adverse Impacts of portfolios. As well as addressing the hidden challenges investment and wealth managers are experiencing, Part Two of this mini-series will explain how AI fits into the big picture, and what solutions it offers in order to help navigate investors through regulatory uncertainty. With speakers from Clarity AI, Deloitte as well as CSS Regtech, who combine innovative technology-driven solutions to support financial services firms. Featuring: Ron Potok, Head of Data Science, Clarity AI Dimitri Tsopanakos, Partner, Head of Investment Management Data Analytics, Deloitte LLP Stuart Royden-Turner, Associate Director Risk Advisory, Deloitte LLP Greg Hotaling, Regulatory Content Manager, Compliance Solutions Strategies (CSS) Moderated by Mina Tümay, Strategic Content Associate, Responsible Investor
