About this talk

Welcome to the third (and last) of the 3-part tutorial series. App teams are excited about using microservices architectures and containers. Running a few containers in a dev environment with a few open source tools is very different from running large clusters with thousands of containers supporting production applications. In this three-part tutorial, Avi Networks CTO, Ranga Rajagopalan explains step-by-step with examples, the services needed and practical considerations in deploying production-ready, container-based applications. Episode 3: Ranga will cover the concepts of gearing up for the day 2 operations such as availability, upgrades, migrations, etc. In this closing episode, Ranga will discuss the concepts of: • Seamless elasticity to meet real-time app traffic requirements • Ensuring application and resource availability • Executing successful blue-green graceful migrations and upgrades • Demonstrating real-life examples of these deployments • Sharing best practices and lessons learned Missed the last two episodes in this tutorial series?
