Women in Technology – Cloud Expo Frankfurt 2016

Cloud Moves TV travelled to Frankfurt for the Cloud Expo Europe, Cloud Security Expo and Data Centre World. Over two days, 4,000 people attended to mix with over 200 innovative exhibitors –including the likes of Samsung and Intel – and listen to inspiring talks from over 200 top expert speakers. CMTV chaired the ‘Women in Technology – Real Life Success Stories’ – live panel discussion. This exceptional line up of leading female figureheads is designed to promote gender equality with the technology sector and ensure female leaders have a voice. Panelist speakers include: Karolina Hornke - is a consultant for technical data protection at Axel Springer. Karolina has over 15 years’ experience within the IT sector, is a mathematics graduate and is part of the companies’ digitisation strategy. Maria Pannanen - is an angel investor and international senior leader with vast experience in B2B sales and marketing from Europe and Asia. Maria has invested in multiple start-ups on an international scale and co-founded the Accelerator Frankfurt. Marion Marschalek - is the Principal Malware Researcher at G DATA Advanced Analytics. Marion was named in Forbes top ’30 under 30’ in the technology Europe division this year and was winner of the Female Reverse Engineer Challenge. Marion also lectures at the University of Applied Sciences in St Polten. Sylvie Le Roy - is the EMEA Network Director at the Uptime Institute Network. Sylvie has extensive experience working within Datacentre Operations and has driven customer satisfaction programmes across 35 sites in 11 countries.
