About this talk

IT equipment (servers, storage and networking) accounts for a significant proportion of a data center’s energy use. Unfortunately, IT efficiency often goes unmentioned in sustainability reports. Data shows a lot of this energy use is wasted, despite efficiency improvements achieved in the last decade. Today’s discussion provides digital infrastructure professionals an overview of available measurements, metrics and hardware and software tools that can be incorporated in a sustainability strategy to improve IT energy efficiency without reducing performance or resiliency.
